Troop 55 is a Scouts BSA, boy led troop, established in 1999, in Lake Arrowhead, CA. Boy led basically means that the Scouts lead the meeting and plan their activities. This model of leadership has been very popular with Troop 55 Scouts and has also worked very well for our adult leadership. Our first priority is that Scouting be fun and we have found that learning, leadership skills, rank advancement, character development and participation naturally follow once the scouts are enjoying themselves.
The troop meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Ministry Center, located at 27415 School Road, right behind Rim High School in Lake Arrowhead. The Troop does not meet during the summer months with the exception of Summer Camp.
